I’m Paola Mânica, originally from Brazil, but currently living in London, UK.
Growing up in the countryside of Brazil, surrounded by nature made me appreciative of being in the moment, being actively present. That became a personal mantra and the starting point for my projects and the relationships I've built over the years. I am always in search of a genuine connection.
I am a political being and I thrive when designing and telling stories based on a cause I believe in and advocate for. My experience is versatile spanning service design, UX, research, innovation and photography. I have worked hands-on and in leadership roles across diverse geographies, such as in the US, Brazil, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. All while navigating various industries including healthcare, charities, public services, retail, fashion, insurance, finance and beyond.

Granted by the Brazilian government a Design Scholarship to study in South Korea at KAIST University - Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Paola also was the 1st design intern at Hyundai R&D and Design Center in Namyang, where she designed a concept car.
